Sweet Heart

I am sooo sorry, I have been a very bad blogger. I'm still in the middle of my Get Organized, Be Inspired class over at BPS and that means that I haven't had any of my stuff in my scraproom for a few weeks. It's killing me!

Scrapperie has been having this awesome Fantastic February party, so I've been stuck on the boards over there a lot. Tonight I finally grabbed some stuff and put together a layout for one of the challenges. This challenge was called For the Love of Embellishments, and we had to use 7 different types. I LOVE this new Penny Lane line from My Mind's Eye, and it was super easy to find embellishements that went along with these gorgeous papers.

Side note- my scanner's acting up. The top and bottom are scallopped just like the sides, and the 't' is not double stamped on the journaling block. Maybe I'll take the time to fix the scan later...

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Valentine's Day! Since I'm currently a fishing widow (Mark headed out around 5) I've been hanging out on the Scrapperie boards. There are tons of great Valentine's Day challenges, plus all the great Fantastic February stuff is going on right now. And there is a sale today too! I LOVE Sandi's February Love is in the Air mini kit, and as of right now it looks like there are still some left. Mark ordered it for me for my Valentine's day gift and I can't wait to get it!

Super fun exciting news!!!

Well, it is to me anyway! Scrapperie just announced their design team for this year, and I was asked to be one of the guest designers! I'm so super excited to get the chance to work with one of Sandi's amazing kits! You can read the announcement of the design team here and the guest designers here. There is some major talent here, let me tell ya, and I am so honored to be a part of it!
