Hello Set & A Birthday Shout Out

I finally got enough time to make a few extra cards for my etsy shop. I love this set, which I made with  inspiration from the She's A Natural layout a little while back. I almost want to use them myself!

I also want to take a moment to say happy birthday to my baby. He's 8 today, and that just baffles me! We'll be doing a water party this afternoon, complete with water balloons, squirt guns and sprinklers. Love you bud!

 

Everyday deserves a celebration!

Today we are getting ready for Scott's birthday party tomorrow. I can't believe my baby will be 8! Here's a super simple card that could be used for much more than just birthdays.

Hybrid- Miss Attitude

I did this one for the scraplift challenge over at Scrapperie this week. The inspiration layout was amazing, and I didn't stick with it as much as I originally hoped to so I may still do it again, but this also happens to be my very first hybrid layout ever. The whole center block was printed straight from Photoshop with the photo, title, journaling and swirl brush image onto AC cardstock. It gave the photo a really cool texture. I added two blocks of patterned paper and a flower accent I made from the same paper & a jewel center. Super easy!

Today I have a card to share with you! I used these papers back on this layout a while ago, and before I cleaned up I put together this card with my scraps.

June kit at Scrapperie

Okay, so I just put in my preorder of the June kit at Scrapperie, Salon de Thé. I can't wait for this one! It's full of Basic Grey Marrakech with some Bo Bunny and My Mind's Eye thrown in. Plus a  ton of embellishments, of course! It will ship by June 10th, but it's going quick, so if you want it head on over to the boutique and pick it up!

It was announced today that I made the design team for Creatively Yours! It's a really cool sketch challenge site, and I'm looking forward to working with them! Look for new challenges posted soon.

She's A Natural

I always forget to include the cool detail shots since I mainly work from printed 4x6 shots instead of printing at home, but I remembered this time! Last year Sierra was at a friend's house when her friend was all excited to show off her bike, and Sierra mentioned she had never ridden a bike before. Her friend's mom put her on and started to teach her, but barely even needed to hold on. She was balanced and pedaling off immediately! (If you knew this child you'd realize how crazy that is!) We've since learned that rollerskating comes easily as well. Now, if we could just get the walking part down...
