I did this one for June sketch challenge over at Scrapperie, but I never got around to posting it here. The word art & frame on the photo were from the day 1 assignment in Jessica Sprague's free photo editing class going on right now. This picture was from a stop we made on the way to Montana. I pulled out my camera and Sierra said "Mom, take a picture of me like this. It's my new style!" That girl cracks me up!

Authentic

I posted awhile back that there was going to be a free photo editing class at JessicaSprague.com, and it started on Monday. The first few lessons were about layering PNG files and using brushes on your photos, so I was inspired to play around with some. For this one, I used a square PNG frame and the 'authentic' brush on the photo before I sent it out for printing. Then I used a sketch from a challenge at Scrapperie and my new July ScrapRoom kit.

Hybrid- Miss Attitude

I did this one for the scraplift challenge over at Scrapperie this week. The inspiration layout was amazing, and I didn't stick with it as much as I originally hoped to so I may still do it again, but this also happens to be my very first hybrid layout ever. The whole center block was printed straight from Photoshop with the photo, title, journaling and swirl brush image onto AC cardstock. It gave the photo a really cool texture. I added two blocks of patterned paper and a flower accent I made from the same paper & a jewel center. Super easy!

digi! Here are my pages from lessons 2 & 3 of Up & Running with Photoshop from Jessica Sprague! Okay, at this point I'm most of the way through the class and I can say, well worth it! I now know how to use all the cool digi templates that are out there, which makes it super easy and fun! Totally wanting to do more!

All supplies are from the class files, except the painted ghost star on Egg Hunt (Little Dreamer Designs by Michelle Coleman) and all the papers on Eat Cake (Ali Edwards/Songbird Ave).

Dabbling...

in digi! Jessica Sprague is doing all sorts of fun things this weekend in honor of National Scrapbook Day, including some free classes and a discount on the first digi class, Up & Running with Photoshop. I have always had a really hard time trying to follow all the tutorials for PSE since I run Photoshop CS3, so I decided to give it a try. I figured, for $36, if it helps me at all, great! Here are my results from Lesson 1 & the first bonus lesson. These were pretty basic, mostly done layouts just to get started. Hopefully as I work through these I'll be able to show you guys more stuff that was all my idea! All supplies were from the Up & Running class downloads.
